This PV strings cold commissioning checklist helps teams verify solar PV string readiness before energization. Document project and site details, test equipment, and confirm compliance with design. Inspect labeling at junction box or inverter, check connector specifications and installation, and perform key electrical tests including insulation resistance (Riso > 1 MOhm), polarity, open-circuit voltage (Voc), and short-circuit current (Isc).
