Electrical Site Survey for Maintenance and Projects

Use this electrical site survey template to plan and record maintenance and project works across substations and facilities. Document site details, client contacts, program of works, and scope. Assess HV and LV switching responsibilities, emergency power off operations, and black building or sectional switching. Capture substation assets including transformers, protection relays, battery chargers, generator backup, automatic transfer switches, power factor correction, and earthing arrangements, with last maintenance dates. Include drawings, grading and earthing studies, and any third party or utility requirements. Plan project tasks from design and procurement through installation, testing, and commissioning. Record access and egress, parking, welfare, emergency lighting, and escape routes, with notes and photographs throughout.
