This site energy audit checklist helps assess building performance across water, HVAC, and electrical systems. Capture initial details, operating hours, and occupancy, then record water, electricity, gas, and additional meter readings. Inspect washrooms for fixture counts, condition, flow rates, leaks, aerators, restrictors, and TMVs. Review plantroom assets including boilers, DHW, pumps, lagging, and BMS controls, noting temperatures, capacities, age, and efficiency. Evaluate AHUs, heat emitters, and TRVs. Identify lighting retrofit opportunities, wattages, and occupancy sensing. Screen for renewables and electrification options such as solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, and EV charging, plus point-of-use heaters and behavioural change opportunities.
