Brookfield Horseshoe Fence and Sign Inspection
by Trish Becker, from the Community
Use this checklist to inspect fences and safety signage at the Horseshoe dam facility. Verify fence posts and extension arms are straight and secure, gates and locks operate correctly, chain link and barbed wire are intact, galvanizing is sound, and grounding wires and electrical isolation sections are in place. Assess sign cleanliness, weathering, physical damage, bolt tightness, and support alignment across dam west and east sides. Reference the Horseshoe Inventory of Public Safety Features to locate all fences and signs and capture signatures to confirm completion.
