Use this working at heights critical control checklist to plan and verify safe work at height. Review permits and rescue plans, confirm trained and competent workers, inspect PPE, full body harnesses and shock absorbing lanyards, and ensure anchor points are assessed. Check EWP and scaffolding are fit for purpose, compliant with standards, inspected, and used per manufacturer instructions. Validate JSEA is available and signed on, and that supervision and ongoing monitoring are in place. Capture findings, worker interviews, and auditor sign off to drive compliance.
