Use this checklist to inspect web slings and round slings for safe lifting operations. Conduct monthly checks and visual inspections before each use to identify wear, abrasion, cuts, burns, chemical or UV damage, broken stitching, knots, corrosion, and damaged fittings. Record equipment details, site and location, and mark defective slings as do not use.
