This water truck prestart checklist helps operators complete a quick daily inspection before use. Check tyres for wear and damage, confirm coolant, fuel and oil levels, and ensure air filters are clear. Test flashing lights, gauges and indicators. Verify safety labels, seat belt, ROPS or FOPS, and that guards are secure and signage is legible. Operate hydraulic functions, look for excessive rust, and grease as required. Confirm a charged fire extinguisher is present, record odometer or hour meter readings, and perform a walk around before moving off.
