Walk and Talk Electrical Safety Checklist
by Stephen Crawshaw, from the Community
This walk and talk electrical safety checklist helps supervisors lead short, constructive discussions on site safety. Review extension leads, RCD protection, portable tools, fixed wiring, and weatherproof outlets. Confirm tagging and testing, hot works permits, barricades near overhead or buried power lines, and end-of-day shutdowns. Capture observations, agree corrective actions, and share outcomes at OHS and toolbox meetings.
