Spiecapag Weekly Erosion and Sediment Control Checklist
by Matt McDermott, from the Community
This weekly erosion and sediment control checklist helps site teams inspect and maintain controls across pipeline and civil construction projects. Verify right of way access is clean, ESC materials are available, dust is minimized, and clean water is diverted appropriately. Check for scour in drainage lines, signs of erosion from site activities, and confirm soil and mulch stockpiles are positioned away from waterways. Ensure sediment controls are installed, maintained, and functioning, and that dirty water is contained and not discharged off site. Review pre disturbance controls, sediment trap and sump capacity, wash down bay sediment handling, and readiness for forecast rain events. Confirm soil management complies with the primary ESC plan and that progressive plans are developed where needed.
