This Southern USI Pre-Work Assessment is a daily pre-start checklist to guide teams through toolbox talks, safety checks, and readiness before work begins. It covers SWMS and WPP verification, worker IDs and inductions, required permits, MSDS and hazardous substances register, and availability of a functioning phone and first aid kit. It also includes test and tag for tools, EWP and abseil logbooks, equipment and ladder checks, detailed harness and sling inspections, PPE confirmation for rail sites, sunscreen and cleanliness, and fatigue management questions. The checklist concludes with sign-off by the team leader and installers.
