Solar Installation on Construction Site Checklist
by John Evans, from the Community
This solar installation checklist supports safe, compliant work on construction sites. It covers site and project details, DC and AC cable rough-in, conduit and switchboard connections, solar framing footings and rails, mid and end clamps, earthing lugs, rooftop isolators, inverter make and model with required clearance for heat dissipation, and proper fit-off of both AC and DC cables. It also checks system size thresholds, grid protection relays at the main switchboard, relay wiring and trip tests, and final commissioning in line with Clean Energy Council guidance and AS5033 requirements.
