SHE Site Inspection Checklist

This SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) inspection checklist helps construction teams review critical site controls and documentation. Assess scaffolding and edge protection, excavations, plant and machinery, site tidiness, access and egress, fire precautions, environmental controls, noise and vibration, COSHH, welfare and first aid, PPE, traffic management, manual handling, public protection, waste management, and site security. Check for asbestos controls, permits and licenses, dust and ground contamination, and verify documentation including inductions, toolbox talks, permits, risk assessments, method statements, training, lifting registers and plans, construction phase plan, waste documentation, and temporary works. Rate items from Excellent to Unacceptable or mark N/A, add comments, and capture signatures for the roll-out manager and onsite supervisor.
