Scaffold Post-Handover Checklist

This scaffold checklist helps verify safety and compliance following receipt of the handover certificate. Use it to confirm plans and risk assessments match the build, check public protection, safeguards near powerlines and vehicle movement, and assess the supporting structure, sole plates, base plates, standards and lift heights. Verify stability, tie positions, edge protection with handrails, midrails and toe boards, planking and overhangs, access and egress, materials handling, clearances, and loading bay ratings and signage. Record issues, attach photos and locations, list corrective actions, and complete the inspection sign off.
