Rigging Hardware and Slings Monthly Inspection

Use this monthly inspection template to evaluate rigging hardware and slings in line with ASME B30.26 and ASME B30.9. Capture serial numbers, locations, and photos, and check rejection criteria for hooks, wire rope clips and wedge sockets, chain, wire rope, web and round slings. Record defects such as wear, corrosion, deformation, heat damage, or missing identification, and mark items out of service.
