Use this Project Site Audit and Inspection checklist to assess compliance with the Safety Management Plan, consultation and incident processes, and risk management. Verify SWMS alignment and registers, permits for excavation, hot work, working at heights and confined spaces, and completion of risk assessments and rescue plans. Confirm worker inductions, training and VOCs, plant inductions, daily pre-starts and toolbox talks. Check emergency contacts, muster points, first aid and fire equipment, PPE, electrical testing and tagging, barricading and signage, housekeeping and facilities. Review scaffolding handover, dropped object controls, ladders, parking, plant and people interaction, project signage, chemical storage with SDS, traffic management, isolation and lockout, and site possession documentation.
