Health and Safety and Fire Alarm Installation Inspection
by James McIntyre, from the Community
Use this comprehensive checklist to inspect health and safety and fire alarm installation work on site. Verify site welfare, PPE, RAMS, and asbestos controls before starting. Review first fix quality including containment, device locations, fixings, cable segregation, fire stopping, and loop test records. Confirm second fix quality with secure terminations, device labeling, asset tags, and dedicated supplies for Part 1 systems. Capture resident testing for Part 6 systems and Aico devices. Ensure documentation is complete, tests are uploaded to certification platforms, drawings and keys are filed, and the site is clean for pre commissioning and handover.
