This pre-plaster inspection checklist helps builders verify that a home is ready for plastering. It covers staircase fitting and protection, wall stud layout at 400 mm centers with DPC under sole plates, plasterboard catchers, pattresses for radiators and fixtures, SVP boxings, attic trap trimming and noggins, and general nogging. Plumbing items include protective plates, color-coded clips, lagging, falls and supports, sealing penetrations, vent or durgo connections, mechanical fixing, foil taping in studs, pressure tests, and capping open ends. Electrical checks include protective plates, box spacing, switch offsets from architraves, detector and sprinkler clearance, duct support and sealing, proper clip spacing, extras, socket positions, and grommets. Roofing and window checks cover vent positions, felt integrity, fireproofing, ridge ventilation, egress dimensions, level and margin checks, strap fixings, foaming, and trickle vents. Final checks include water main insulation, membrane overlap for airtightness, fall protection, and site tidy.
