Ensure compliant use of personal protective equipment on construction sites with this PPE checklist. Verify minimum PPE requirements such as hard hats, safety glasses, long sleeves, long pants, safety boots, and gloves. Confirm PPE aligns with JHAs or SWMS and SDS, and that supply, allocation, maintenance, repair, and disposal are controlled. Check registers of issue, training and correct use, signage for required PPE, and storage for special PPE like safety harnesses. Provide visitor PPE, monitor effectiveness regularly, and log corrective and preventive actions with the inspection team.
