This point of work risk assessment template helps crews verify site readiness and safety before starting scaffolding activities. Prompts cover induction and RAMS confirmation, emergency facilities and evacuation routes, access to first aid, consultation with the person in charge, availability of correct procedures and equipment, separation of vehicles and pedestrians, handling and storage of hazardous substances per SDS, team briefing on the safe method of work, required PPE, fall arrest harness checks, safe access, and manual handling risks. It also includes arrival work area checks, obstruction clearance, photo capture, handover and completion, scaffold status via Scafftag, and sign-off.
