Audit construction sites with the MTX Health and Safety Site Audits checklist. Review site welfare and presentation, security, sign-in, welfare facilities and cleanliness, and required documentation such as F10 notification, Construction Phase Plan, insurance, health and safety policy, HSE poster, accident book, and communication boards. Verify inductions, card checks, statutory inspections, permits, and management structure. Assess emergency preparedness including fire risk assessment and plan, fire points and lighting, assembly points, and first aiders and marshals. Inspect key hazards and controls: RAMS, COSHH, temporary works, access and egress, electrical safety, tools and equipment (PUWER), working at height (fixed and mobile), excavations and groundworks, lifting operations (LOLER), mobile plant and traffic management, asbestos, demolition, confined spaces, dust, noise and vibration, manual handling, housekeeping, and PPE/RPE. Check environmental management for waste control, tree protection, recycling, refuelling, spill kits, concrete washouts, run-off containment, and nuisance dust and noise. Record observations and assign corrective actions.
