Fire Services ITP for Commercial Plumbing
by Jeremy Cameron, from the Community
Use this Fire Services Inspection Test Plan to ensure commercial plumbing fire protection systems meet standards and design specifications. Check hydrant, valve, and hose reel locations against current drawings, verify jointing and welding methods, confirm correct backfill and warning tape for buried pipework, and record pressure testing. Inspect bracket spacing and penetrations for compliant fire collars or caulking, and ensure isolation valves are properly chained and locked. Capture observations, signatures, media, and manage non-conformances for handover.
