This MCC Excavator Prestart Inspection checklist helps operators verify equipment condition and safety before use. Exterior checks include chassis, boom, stick, roller frames, pins and bushings, glass and panels, mirrors, and doors. Lighting and safety include beacons, front and rear work lights, backup alarm, and external emergency stop. Compliance items include ROPS/FOPS, onboard documentation, log books, decals, and emergency procedures. Concludes with sign-off acknowledging tagging out if unsafe.
