This M4E task observation checklist helps field teams assess high risk construction activities and verify compliance with the project SWMS. Review working at heights, mobile plant operations, temporary works, live services, traffic management, lifting activities, and electrical safety. Confirm walkways, barriers, housekeeping, equipment prestarts, and above the line controls such as elimination, substitution, isolation, and engineering are in place. Use the SWMS review section to verify sign offs, record changes, identify new hazards, and assign corrective actions with due dates to ensure safe work practices on site.
