This pre-use inspection checklist helps operators assess the safety and operability of LM gantry cranes before service. Capture crane identity and photos, check beams, welds, rubber bumpers, wheels and brakes, rack and pinion jacks, chain blocks (per AFS 2006:6), and I-beam trolleys. Record deficiencies, evidence, and corrective actions, then email the completed report to maintenance as instructed in the user manual, chapter 5.
