This electrical first fix quality assurance checklist for houses helps site teams verify compliance and workmanship during early stage installation. It guides checks for ventilation first fix, including ducting installed to manufacturer guidance and NHBC fixing centres, core holes and solid ducting, and connection of extract grilles or air bricks. Electrical scope covers cables run to final accessory boxes per drawings, fixing to joists and walls with capping where required, protection through metal frames, clear height and location marking, and identification of pull through cables. It prompts segregation of extra low voltage from low voltage circuits, installation of steel wire armoured cable to the meter cupboard with continuous support, and capturing downlight measurements. Fire protection items such as putty pads or intumescent gaskets are included, along with housekeeping and supervisor sign off.
