This boom lift safety checklist supports daily pre use inspections to confirm the machine is safe to operate. Verify fluid levels, tires, hoses, welds, rails, gates, controls, horns, lights, alarms, and hydraulic pressure. Check labels and load capacity markings and clear the work area of hazards such as debris, overhead obstructions, live wires, and traffic. Capture photos, note defects, and notify a supervisor so issues are fixed before the lift is used.
