Internal Retrofit Survey Revised v2.6

This internal retrofit survey template supports detailed building assessments to plan energy‑efficiency upgrades. Capture room use and dimensions, floor level and ceiling height, and heat loss perimeters. Document wall and floor construction, external wall depth, and conditions such as cracks, damp, and mould. Record door and window types, sizes, orientation, glazing, shading, draught proofing, and security. Survey radiators, TRVs and controls, pipework, and defects. Include underfloor void details, joists, insulation type and depth, and ventilation. Note water use features, lighting and appliances, and any fuel‑burning appliances. Assess spaces outside the thermal envelope, access, insulation, ventilation, and any suspected asbestos or dangerous gas or electrical installations.
