Interior Drywall Quality Control Checklist
by Michael Walker, from the Community
This interior drywall quality control checklist guides site teams through key checks before one-side installation, during one-side, and at double-up. Verify electrical boxes and MEP strapping do not protrude or bulge, confirm framing, backing, and HM door alignment, and ensure correct fastener spacing and joint placement per plans and specs. At double-up, confirm track cavities are clean, required insulation is installed, and vertical board joints are properly staggered on rated walls. Includes supervisor and QC sign-off sections with space for notes and media.
