Daily Interior Worksite Safety Inspection
by Matthew Sofley, from the Community
This daily interior worksite safety inspection checklist is designed for construction sites performing interior fit out and renovation tasks. It guides supervisors through checks on fall protection, hand and power tools, powder actuated tools, scaffolding, lifts, and electrical safety. It covers stairs and ladders, PPE, housekeeping, fire extinguishers, emergency procedures, deliveries, building access, and shut downs. It includes public protection, smoke detectors, trash disposal, restrooms, secured access to work areas, freight elevator use, worker appearance standards, return air filter coverage, and coordination with building security and after hours schedules. Space is provided to note additional safety concerns and assign responsibility.
