This Grading Inspection Card (QVC 1.10) helps verify earthwork quality and compliance on construction projects. Record site and drawing details, NPDES, testing agency, and grading start date. Confirm BMPs are in place, property corners are located, materials for proctors are complete, and GPS machine control files align with benchmarks. Check haul routes, lift placement per specifications, passing compaction tests, ditches graded to drain without ponding, and finish grades within tolerance. Capture remarks, additional comments, and obtain sign-offs from subcontractor, contractor, and owner rep/testing/inspector.
