Temporary Works Safety Inspection Checklist
by Aaron Lazenby, from the Community
This construction checklist supports safe management of temporary works for FC Civils Solutions. It helps verify that previous actions are closed, the Temporary Works Register and paperwork (design briefs, permits to load/unload, inspection records) are current, and that appointments and competencies for the temporary works team are in place. It covers subcontractor controls, designer competency checks, and on-site conformance with designs and manufacturer instructions. Inspectors assess condition of temporary works, loading practices, weather and ground conditions, housekeeping and materials storage, crane lifting permits, and walkway housekeeping. Includes summary, comments, and signatures for the TWC, TWS, and H&S.
