Electrical Site Hazard Assessment and SWMS
by Francis Perconte, from the Community
This electrical site hazard assessment and SWMS checklist helps teams complete a pre start risk review on residential construction sites. Use it to select trade type, identify hazards such as live electrical circuits, overhead powerlines, open trenches, asbestos, plant interactions and weather, and then plan control actions including isolating circuits, barricading drop zones, housekeeping, traffic management and PPE. Link or reference applicable safe work method statements, record custom controls, add photos, and capture worker and supervisor sign offs to confirm understanding and implementation.
