This crusher safety inspection checklist supports safe crushing operations on construction sites. It covers daily pre-task planning, emergency plans and clinic locations, new employee orientation and integration, open-ended TPR questions, and detailed machinery checks including lubrication, cleanliness, seat belts, and safety equipment. It verifies traffic control and haul routes, overhead and underground utility locates, and control of hazardous energy with lockout tagout. It includes inspections for wiring, hoses, jacks, chains and slings with certification dates, and awareness of equipment swing zones. Equipment guarding sections address pulleys, belt heads, tail shafts, chains, sprockets, falling rock areas, nip and crush points. Additional checks include power and hand tools, PPE compliance, erosion control and SWPPP, fall protection for lifts, harnesses, ladders, and guardrails, fire safety and extinguishers, gas cylinder storage, chain saw safety, cell phone use, previous inspection details, and supervisory sign-offs.
