High-Risk Activities Questions for First Site Visit
by Steve Tate, from the Community
Use this first site visit checklist to identify high-risk construction activities before work begins. Assess working at heights, scaffolding, roof work, excavation, confined space entry, demolition, cranes and lifting, electrical hazards near power lines, road closures, and hot works. Consider health exposures including silica dust, asbestos, hazardous substances, vibration, and welfare facilities. Capture details onsite to plan controls and meet safety requirements.
