Use this checklist to assess coatings subcontractor job sites for compliance and safety. Verify fall protection (100% tie-off, harnesses and lifelines), scaffold condition and rigging, housekeeping, tool and ladder safety, PPE, and respiratory protection. Check environmental controls including designated paint and mixing areas, spill protection, and lead protocols such as action zones, air monitoring, decontamination, waste testing and storage, and HEPA vacuums.
