Use this AGL 2024 toolbox talk to brief crews on safe use of portable, hand-held electrical tools. It covers before-use inspections (casing, cords, plugs, correct voltage and earthing), correct operation and PPE, and common site hazards such as damaged leads, wet conditions, trips, and noise. Reinforce 110 volt site requirements, disconnecting when not in use, and routine checks by a competent electrician. Includes attendee register for acknowledgment and a reminder to discuss any concerns with a supervisor.
