Access and Egress TRM Checklist (July 2023)

This Access and Egress Task Risk Management (TRM) checklist helps construction teams verify safe entry and exit routes across a site. It covers clearly signed office routes, access from welfare facilities, segregation of pedestrians from vehicles, walkway condition and trip hazards, road crossing signage and gates, speed control measures, step markings, route lighting, and scaffold fitting protrusions. Use it to identify hazards, improve traffic management, and support compliance with site safety requirements. Templates from the SafetyCulture Public Library are examples and should be validated for your specific workplace and jurisdiction.
