This 2nd fix carpentry checklist helps site teams complete and sign off finishing works before handover. Verify door linings are plumb, correct gaps to frames with approved fire foam, door swing and margins (2-4 mm), flush hinges with all screws, and accurate latch and lock heights. Check doorstops, neat architraves, skirting scribes and mitres, and that skirting is glued and fixed. Confirm curtain battens are secure with arris removed, the unit is clean and tidy, and obtain supervisor and manager sign-off.
