Esperance FEL and Skid Steer Prestart Checklist
by Shane Massam, from the Community
This FEL and skid steer prestart checklist helps operators verify daily readiness and safety before use. Confirm risk assessment and record machine hours. Inspect for leaks under the machine and ensure locking pins are engaged on skid steers. Check oil and water levels, grease all pivot points, and test all lights. Clean the air conditioner filter, blow out the radiator, and remove grain residue from the machine and fire extinguisher. Ensure the grease gun and lifting chains are on the FEL and that the machine was fueled at shift end. Wear the seat belt, maintain machine hygiene, and document any damage with photos.
