Electric Fence Loop Planning Checklist (1A13)
by Adam Northwood, from the Community
This template helps plan and inspect electric fence loops for agricultural properties. Record the project and loop ID, document scouting details, and measure loop size in kilometres. Identify hazards and list easy access points for spool drop-offs. Capture loop resistance, the number of trail and road crossings, and note vegetation and water crossings that may affect performance. Specify the quantity of open weak links (reconnected daily) and closed weak links (permanent or buried). Track required wire crossing signs and assess wire proximity to the public to ensure safety and compliance.
