ShipIt week is about coming together as a global team to collaborate, innovate and push the boundaries. ShipIt is a unique part of SafetyCulture’s DNA and this event will be the 6th ShipIt to take place in Townsville, the birthplace of SafetyCulture!
What is incredible is that since the last ShipIt we have grown from 120 attendees to over 180. As we scale quickly it is more critical than ever to focus on building relationships across teams, align our mission, and realise our capabilities.
We hope you come away from this week having a greater focus on the HOW and WHY of our ambitious goals and mission, learn new things, and collaborate in new ways with each and every one of our incredibly talented team. We are on a phenomenal journey together - excited to see what we are capable of!

ShipIt Day
ShipIt Day is your opportunity to work on that project you’ve always wanted to start that wasn’t on the roadmap. Be creative, start a new product, add a new feature, fix some bugs, make something easier for our customers, or deliver an improvement to life at SafetyCulture! Have fun, and work with the team you’ve always wanted to collaborate with. You’ll have 24 hours to work together to deliver something impactful and present it to everyone else. This is your chance to push the boundaries, put innovation at the forefront and embrace the opportunity to work with people you normally wouldn’t!

Luke Recap Week
For all domestic staff, please find the link to your flight itinerary against your name. Once you click on the link, please ensure you double check all the details are correct and then print or download the itinerary to your phone. Please note there are no spaces in names for the airlines, e.g mr cameronjohn smith (john being the middle name) and the same applies for multiple first or last names. Your Airline Confirmation number for check in can be found under “Agent Comments Section” or under “Confirmation Number”. Finally, if you have a frequent flyer number then you can go onto your booking and add this.
For International staff, you will have had already been sent your itinerary and if for any reason you haven’t received it, please contact Pauline immediately so she can get it sent over to you – Pauline@attolo.co

We are using 4 Hotels for Shipit Week: Grand Hotel, Quest Apartments, Oaks Metropole and Oaks Gateway. Please have a look for your name under the relevant hotel and make note of your confirmation number. There are certain 2 bedroom apartments where some staff will share the communal space of the apartment – please ensure you double check in case your name is in the ‘Share Column’” If you have any questions, please contact Pauline – Pauline@attolo.co
All the hotels are within walking distance from the office so you will easily be able to get around on foot.

Registrations: You will be given a registration bag when you check into your hotel. This will contain most importantly your wristband that allows you to get your breakfast at the pre-allocated locations, as well as your name badge and lanyard. There are some extra items and instructions in the bag, so make sure you take a look.
ShipIt Breakfast System
For our 2018 ShipIt event we have partnered with the following 3 breakfast locations to offer a pre-paid breakfast package for all staff. To access the breakfast, you can go to any of the locations below and show your wristband (these will be issued when you check into your Hotel) to the server and confirm that you are with SafetyCulture. Please note, there can only be ONE order per person. Enjoy!

Please note that for the package at Paradise Bar & Cafe it includes anything on the buffet menu plus 1 hot/cold drink per person. Anyone who wishes more than 1 coffee needs to pay for it themselves. If you’re a 2-coffee fiend, make sure you order a large one !
